“On New Year’s Day evening, my furnace quit working, I knew no one would be working on New Year’s Day, so I kept my house warm with my electric stove, oven and space heater. The next morning I called 3 or 4 places, left my info for them to call me back. Furnace Doctors called back almost immediately, and had a guy at my house in about an hour. He was very professional and had a diagnosis in about 15 minutes. It was a bad high limit switch (21 years old). He quoted a reasonable price to have a new one installed, but needed to order one. In the mean time, he reset the old switch, and increased the fan speed, and had me open all the vents. This temporary fix lasted the 2 days until the new switch was installed.”
